Booking Closes for - 2010 End of Season Celebration

For some time now organisations like the AFLPA have tried to focus on assisting AFL players with personal development off the field, both during their football careers and in the years immediately following their retirement. It has traditionally been the role of coterie groups to assist the Club both on and off the field in areas of welfare and development.
That matter, combined with the fact that most, if not all, coterie members at North Melbourne are either high level executives or business proprietors has led us to develop a coterie mentoring program. The Northerners have established a network of personal support and development opportunities they hope to provide to the players of the North Melbourne Football Club to assist in off field development as much as possible.
Whilst we understand the commitment and dedication required to reach the elite AFL level on the field, the Northerners hopes to be able to assist the players to develop (in parallel) their skills off the field to ensure that on retirement, whether that be after 1 game or 300 games and whether that be at the age of 18 or 30, all North Melbourne players (and past players) have the business skills and contacts necessary to develop an alternative career path.
The 2010 Player & Coterie night will be held on Thursday 27 May 2010. Participation in the night is strictly for coterie members.
